Training in India

If you would like to participate in a training seminar and panchakarma therapies in India, please contact us at 484-347-6110 or doctorshekhar@gmail.com

We had wonderful Ayurvedic Panchakarma Training Programs and Treatments in February 2008 (3 weeks) & February 2007 (3 weeks) in India.  About 22 people attended the two programs, including ayurvedic consultants, massage therapists, yoga teachers, nurse practitioners and medical doctors.

We look forward to organizing another Ayurvedic intensive training program in India in late 2009 or early 2010. The program will be approximately 24 days, including travel.  This educational training and treatment program is being organized by International Institute of Integrative Medicine, Andhra Pradesh (www.i3monline.com) in collaboration with AyuGreen, Kerala (www.ayugreen.com). We welcome all ayurvedic graduates, medical doctors, allied health professionals, yoga teachers, massage therapists and those interested in receiving Panchakarma therapies.**

Students will have the unique opportunity to train at AyuGreen Hospital, part of which is located in a beautiful beach hut area of Kerala, and to visit an ayurvedic college, hospital, pharmacy, and spiritual temple in Andhra Pradesh, India.

Highlights of the Ayurvedic Intensive Training Program in India include:

1. Intensive Panchakarma (Ayurvedic bodywork / massage) hands-on training in an Ayurvedic hospital and beach-hut center

2. Clinical case studies with patients – students will see and evaluate patients with a variety of common and chronic diseases

3. Training in various women’s health problems - Gynecology

4. Herbal compound preparations (pharmacy)

5. Advanced, intensive herbology, including visiting herbal gardens to identify medicinal plants

6. Personal Jyotish (Vedic Astrology) reading

7. Personal palmistry reading

8. Regular Yoga and Meditation classes

9. Vedic fire ceremony (Homa)

10. Ayurvedic Medical Camp for local, poor patients

11. Indian classical dance performance (Bharata Natyam)

Testimonials:

“The Advanced Clinical Training & Panchakarma Intensive in India with Dr. Shekhar Annambhotla was exceptional. The level of understanding demonstrated by the doctors provided the course participants with an in-depth understanding of the topics presented. Additionally, the technicians that provided us with hands-on demonstrations are experts in their fields.  As per our living arrangement, our quarters, food and care to our personal needs were outstanding. I recommend this course to anyone that is seriously interested in integrating Ayurveda into his or her current practice and lifestyle”.

“Our stay has been quite an amazing experience.  We thoroughly enjoyed the inaugural Vedic ceremony.  It was well organized and being a part of it was a great honor.  The medical camp was a great experience also.  The rooms were comfortable, the food was tasty and most importantly we felt at home.  We look forward to coming again.  Keep up the amazing work here”.
